Describe a person/friend who is a good leader
You should say:
- – Who this person is?
- – How do you know this person?
- – What he/she does?
- – Why do you think he/she is a good leader?
Contemporarily, leadership quality is the need of an hour which is these days undoubtedly possessed by the modern woman. It is rightly said that, A beautiful woman is a beautiful woman, but a beautiful woman with a brain is an absolutely lethal combination.
Similarly, the female leaders of our Indian constitution are “ beauty with brains”. They are putting fire on our nation’s legislation as they are much more confident and pragmatic as compared to their male counterparts. Indian female leaders such as the 1st female president of India Mrs. Pratibha Patil, 1st female prime minister Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, her daughter-in-law Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Mrs. Kirron Kher and so on. All these are the epitome of successful women politicians.
Here, I will be talking about Mrs. Kiron Kher, who is not only a politician but also an Indian Bollywood actress. A multi-talented personality of our nation. She has served in the acting field for more than three decades and now its been over 10 years since she stepped into politics. Initially, she has been involved with non-profit movements such as Laadli (a campaign against female infanticide) and Roko Cancer (a campaign for awareness of cancer). She joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2009. Moreover, she has been a vocal admirer of BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi because she is a multilingual personality. She not only has the acknowledgment of her native languages like Punjabi her mother language, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali etcetera, but also she is very fluent in English, French, Spanish, Urdu and so on. Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) declared her as the Lok Sabha candidate from Chandigarh for General Elections, 2014. Subsequently, in May 2014, she won the seat, defeating the Congress leader Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal. Before this, she was busy in her acting career and did a commendable job. She won multifarious awards for her outstanding performances in distinct movies and that too, internationally such as she won the Best Actress Award, at Locarno International Film Festival, Switzerland, the Karachi International Film Festival, Karachi, and International Festivals at Ciepie in Argentina and Cape Town in South Africa. Though she is still working in the film fraternity, simultaneously. Besides this, despite facing umpteen turmoils, her personal life is going great.
Hence, considering all these things I really admire her a lot and want to meet her. Fortunately, she was in my town once, as I am also residing in Chandigarh from where she won votes for a member of parliament. For me, she is a mind-blogging personality and I really want to see her someday.
