Talk about a skill that takes a long time to learn.

Please say:

  • What skill did you acquire?
  • How did you acquire that skill?
  • How is it important for you?
  • How you feel about it?

Every individual is distinguished from another person in a distinct way and that applies to their learning capability too. Skills define an individual; the more skillful an individual is, the better are the chances of succeeding in life. There are countless skills that require immense patience and enthusiasm.
When I was a little girl, I used to dance to music so my mother took me to dance classes. I learned diverse styles of dancing. I began it when I was about 8 or 9 years of age and trained all through the time I attended college. I even participated in competitions in my school but I never secured any praiseworthy position, there were other girls who were better than me.

I just relished dancing to the rhythm, the movements and stretching assisted in retaining my fitness. I didn’t actually notice it when I was fledgling but I assume I ingrained a lot of self-discipline from dancing. I also assimilated that if I keep polishing my talent then something which appeared to be impossible today can become easy or at least easier someday, so I guess I acquired perseverance also.

My teacher was an ex-ballet dancer, skilled in the traditional dance of France, but she also imparted us with numerous contemporary dancing styles too, so, I nurtured up apprehending umpteen types of dancing. Even now I love to dance and find it very reinvigorating, almost salubrious, it helps me relax.

I’m not positive if I would learn or study more about dancing now as I’m more inclined towards drama and acting, but I’ll always be very obliged to my mother for providing me the chance to learn and take dance classes and also to my dance teacher for granting me such an exceptional talent that I still enjoy whenever I want.
