Talk about a situation when you had to be polite

Losing the temper every now and then on all the titbits is not the solution to any troublesome situation.

Here I would like to mention a time when I could be an aggressive one but I did not. Two months back I was expecting some guests at my place. I was busy making the arrangements for them like cooking scrumptious eatables, making the house spick and span and many more, owing to which my two years old child felt neglected by me. Actually, I was running out of time, so I was in a rush to organize the things before their arrival. Since they were my husband’s colleagues, my inclination was more on the preparations and my mother-in-law was handling my child. He was getting quite grumpy. I was just in the middle of the chores and the guests arrived simultaneously, my child was crying.

Then I started serving them. The things were getting hotchpotch. Then my mother-in-law asked me to take care of my child and she will be handling the guests. I did the same, I relaxed myself and went to my child, started giggling him and thankfully, after some hardships, he stopped weeping and started chuckling. Subsequently, I took him into the crowd of guests and everyone was happy to see him. Everyone started playing with him, fortunately, he was also liking their company. Resultingly, I was able to attend the visitors in a hassle-free way. I fed all of them along with my child and everything went so well that they were applauding me and my efforts and was praising my food as well.

Thus, this was that time when I could get pugnacious with any of my family members that they could look after the child while I was engaged in the tasks or I could scold my child for his ill behavior but I did not do so, rather I handled the situation more painstakingly.
