Technology has bestowed us umpteen bounties to which cell phones are not an exception which has both pros and cons. It has provided us the leverage of being in contact with one another.
Earlier, I used to get multifarious random calls from unknown numbers owing to which I had to change my number. During those days, I vividly remember, on a very fine day, I received a phone call from a person who seemed to me like an acquaint one. Actually, I used to be a hostler during my college days and it was our result day. My grades were very poor and my tutor threatened me that he will call my parents. I was extremely jittery and every now and then I was looking at the phone as I was expecting my father’s call, who probably scold me on the phone.
Suddenly, the phone rang and I received it without even checking the number. The person opposite me on the phone was also yelling and it was quite similar voice to my father. Initially, he was talking about the results and the bad grades but gradually, he started talking about something else like, he was screaming on his daughter regarding her affair with bad person and I was in dilemma that what is he talking about and that too at a stretch. I stopped him and asked to whom he wants to talk to, he uttered some bizarre name. Eventually, I got to know that he was not my father, instead, he was someone else.
It was a pretty awkward situation but I understood and disconnected the call.
Overall, that was an outlandish thing happened to me a few years back.
