Science and its associated domains seem to be endless as they cover almost every aspect of human’s life. It is divided into branches, out of which some are really popular among people such as astronomy, microbiology, human biology et cetera. People usually get fascinated towards science because it helps to unfold the mysteries of nature and to widen our knowledge about almost everything we are surrounded of. The branch which particularly appeals me is floriculture which is a discipline of horticulture concerned with the cultivation of flowering and ornamental plants for gardens and for floristry, comprising the floral industry.
Amazingly, most of the people have no idea about it but it is mushrooming and making a difference in people’s lives and the economy too.
It started when I was almost 3 years old, as per my mother. Actually she has a green thumb, watching her maintaining our huge garden and growing a great deal of vegetables and fruits became my inspiration. I would lend a hand to her whenever possible and that is how I got to learn about plants.
Since my childhood, I have been fascinated towards different components of the living world, especially to flora and fauna kingdom. I used to wonder how a plant can be germinated from a hard seed, how this diversity of flora exists and what makes it possible. I found it more intriguing when I started studying these concepts in school.
Gradually I realized that what I am most interested in is the flowers. Also, being a nature lover I never wanted to settle myself in a corporate world where people have no job satisfaction and huge workload that they are unable to enjoy their life. I always wanted to work freely, enjoy doing what I love, being productive and to stay close to nature. So I decided to get myself enrolled in floriculture. Simultaneously, I made people of my locality aware about the potential of flower cultivation and now we are known for it.
All in all, I believe that everyone should be realize their abilities and should choose their future prospects accordingly.
