I am a happy go lucky person and find happiness in every trivial thing. I love exploring new things and places in order to get solace from my daily monotonous routine and one such place is The Morni Hills.
It is actually a hill station situated around 55 kilometers away from my hometown Chandigarh and the outskirts of Panchkula, Haryana. I love visiting there with my kith and kin. Mostly I go there in order to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries since it not only adds lavishing and astonishing moments in the celebrations but also rejoices us. As it is the nearest hill station, I visit there every time I feel exhausted. I love enjoying the tranquility of the vegetation nature has bestowed us and even its famous destinations like its most prevalent waterfall for which youngsters zealously visits there, the temple of Lord krishna known as Thakur Dwar temple which is on the bank of a renowned tikkar taal lake where tourists visits enthusiastically and this is that particular spot where I can spend hours relishing me time with my books as I am a bibliophile. Even if the spot is filled with the visitors I can find my solace over there. Apart from this, The Haryana Government has constructed the Mountain Quail Resort for tourists,along with a motorable road to connect the Morni Hills with the Haryana State Highway near Panchkula. Three further roads connect Morni to Chandigarh and other nearby towns which makes it feasible for the nearby residing citizens to commute and drive pleasure.
Thus, The Morni Hills is the real treasure for the dwellers of the bustling town like Chandigarh and I feel blessed to be one of them.
