I can still recall getting my very first mobile phone as a reward from my father when I passed my intermediate with flying colors. However, it has now become a toy in the hand of kids. They become familiar with the functioning of the mobile phone pretty early like in secondary school. However, my parents were more concern about the studies so they didn’t allow me to have one before I entered university because they were afraid that it could distract me from my study. So, you can imagine how excited I was when I was given the phone. Actually, it was a Samsung smart phone with lots of attractive features such as touch screen and camera it has a huge camera. I used it for umpteen purposes such as to keep in touch with my friends and relatives. In addition to this, I sometimes used it for listening to music and play games. It meant a lot to me, as it also helps me in learning new words and skills. I have to leave my hometown for my graduation. I could have lived without my phone as my mom calls me at least twice a day to know m well being. Now, that I have completed my graduation I have found a job in my city. Now, I can afford to buy a phone with more enhanced features, however, I still keep this phone as a memento of my parent’s affections. |
