Well, there is a large variety of plants and tree which grows in my country. Such as Curry, Gulmohar, Ashok, Deodar, Neem, etc which have aesthetic value. I would like to discuss about neem tree which has plenty of uses. Its botanical name is Azadirachta Indica. Neem can be found all over the world, it grows in tropical and subtropical regions.

The Neem tree is an evergreen tree and is used to treat forty different diseases. All the parts of the tree are used for treating illnesses, that is, the leaves, fruit, seeds, twigs, and bark. Neem is claimed to clean the blood, stimulates antibody for providing protection against many other diseases and strengthens the immune system. In rural areas, people use its small branches as a toothbrush as it treats mouth infections, mouth ulcers, and sore gums and also helps to prevent tooth decay. Juice of neem leaves is used to make eye drops to provide relief from pink eyes. Its juice is also used to cure jaundice. Its paste is applied for curing skin problems, fungal infections, rashes etc. It is also effective in treating gastritis, heartburn, and indigestion.

To cap it all, it can be said that the neem tree is a boon to mankind. Many industries used it for a plethora of purposes, such as pharmaceutical for medicines, FMCG industry for making cosmetics and daily use products such as shampoo and soaps. It is also used for making furniture. I had planted a neem plant in my house when I was 8 years old and now it has become a tree. I feel very happy whenever I sit in its shadow.
