A person experiences countless festive events in one’s life. These experiences have their own value which makes a person’s life more colorful. Today, I would like to talk about an important party which I attended a few weeks ago. It was the success party of my friend. Recently, he opened two new outlets of his restaurant and expanded his business. So to promote his business and celebrate his recent success, he threw a grand party for all his friends and business partners. I saw him grow, how he started his business from a scratch. Today, people only see the prosperous him but I knew the hardship he endured to make his dreams into reality. I feel really happy and proud of his success. One of his qualities that I like the most is that he never gives up believing in himself and he is too determined to achieve what he wants even if the odds are against him. I feel great pleasure to call him my friend. The party he organized was magnificent and the food was exquisite and immensely delicious. But the real attraction of the party was the Gippy Grewal, a Punjabi rockstar, of which I am a diehard fan. He came only because he personally knows my friend. He sang many of my favorites and few new songs too. That day, I met many of my college mates with whom I lost all contact after college. I never realized how much time has been consumed in the hustle and bustle of life. If not for my friend, I would have never realized this. Nevertheless, it was a fabulous reunion and we all danced a lot that day. |
