Learning is the method to enlighten people and in their studies, people have to go through a plethora of subjects. However, they do not prefer many of the subjects for some strange reasons which are known only to them. When I was in school, I had no interest in Civics. Actually, civics seemed tiresome to me. However, my opinions on the subject have absolutely transformed as I grew older enough to understand its importance.

It is natural that a student might be better in any particular subjects and have a mediocre skill in other ones. I was proficient in Computers and always scored decent marks during my entire academy tenure. But civics has always been a trouble for me. Passing the subject with an extraordinary grade was a sort of dream to me. I think memorizing the laws and the legal terminology related to civics was the most concerning issue for me. I rarely go through the prescribed books. Therefore, it became hard for me to excel in the subject in the exams. However, for all the aforementioned reasons, I greatly ducked the subject in those years because it seems tough to me and grew a feeling of enmity with civics.

I had an impression that civics mostly deals with rules and regulations that govern the running of a country. In fact, civics is the science of the privileges and obligations of citizens of any nation. Now I believe that it is a very crucial subject than any other subject. I regret bunking lectures of civics. In each grade, a fresh civics book was prescribed in the syllabus to make the students familiar with laws which keep smooth going of the country. So that they could be informed about the laws which support them and backs them up in the adverse times of life.

In recent years, while I was preparing for government examinations I have attained the greatest experiences of my life. I learned about the necessity of law and order in running a country. I perceived that I have practically no knowledge about it. However, I started to study the laws and rights of the citizen of a country and enhance my knowledge, as it is never too late to learn new things in life. I realized that bunking those classes was the biggest mistake of my life. Now it seems intriguing to me as I am getting more and more aware of this world.
