Math is used in cooking and baking to measure out ingredients as well. One needs to measure out a specific amount of a certain chemical or graph data, show calculations for laws of nature and so on. Math is used in sewing as well. You may not be using calculus everyday, but math is still prevalent in every day life.Mathematics is considered as a crucial subject in multifarious fields , including engineering , medical , finance and social science. It contains algebra , statistics , geometry and many more . It’s been a long time ago , when I was in 10th standard. I learnt about statistics for the first time. Though it took me quite a long time to acquire knowledge and skills in this aspect but I managed to demonstrate my aptitude for it . I gained proficiency in it through the constant obstinacy and determination . Ideally , this subject helps to compile data statistically .Apart from this , it helps design a survey and helps to optimize the profits. It has a huge pragmatic value in today’s scenario in field of commerce and accountancy as well. All the surveys and population count is done through statistics. It helps to draw meaningful conclusions about the entire population. Being a student today of economics , statistics has helped me to learn various concepts and theories. Today , statistical methods are applied almost in every field that involve decision making for accurate information. To learn this skill wasn’t a seven day wonder. It took long time and sustained efforts to acquire sufficient intelligence and understanding .All in all , importance of maths cannot be denied as it helps with the better problem solving abilities.
