Talk about a foreign language you want to learn (other than English)
Please say:
The word language has its root from the Latin word “language” which implies “tongue”. A person displays his feeling and emotions through the language he speaks. The acquisition of language begins at an early age with the grunts and cries of the newborn. The world of a person is restrained by the reach of his language of communication. Hence the ability to be polyglot makes a person capable to broaden his horizons. Furthermore, in many societies, the art of conversing in multiple languages is contemplated as an attribute of a cultured and educated person. At present, I am capable of communicating in four distinct languages which are English, Punjabi, Urdu, and Hindi. Today, I would like to talk about a language which I want to learn in near future and it is the French language. There are a plethora of reasons by dint of which I want to acquire the skill of speaking frequent French. I like to travel a lot and till now I have visited more than 6 countries in total. Learning a new language will enable me to mix with people of different cultural background, it will develop my cross-cultural awareness. Additionally, it will enhance the spread of my business as most of my trips to foreign countries are business oriented where I have to interact with foreign delegates. So mastering a new language will serve me making a better impression on them and it will also provide an edge to my business. Last but not least, it will add on to my personality at an interpersonal level. |
