Since childhood days I have a habit of reading journals every now and then. Although I read various magazines, “The week” is the magazine I prefer the most. It is an Indian news magazine which is published every week on Friday. It carries articles related to political and social affairs, news related to education and history, some articles on fiction work and poetry as well. This magazine has a huge readership and is easily available in any book shop across India. Online buying option is also available on the magazine’s website. This magazine covers all the recent activities taking in the world which make it immensely informative and because of this distinguishing feature it stands out of all the other magazines. Another striking thing concerning this magazine is its cover page design which is quite attractive and good paper quality.

The magazine has different sections such as the national and international event section, the editor’s remarks on important news, sections on arts, literature, education, science, and sports. I am mostly concerned about the articles in the education section, as it discusses various universities and courses which might have good use in the future and are necessary for the present generation along with the problems of teachers and students and its solutions.

A hot segment of the magazine is the cinema which includes informative portions about films, and their activities. It can be said that “The week” is one of the most liked magazines among the Indian public.
